Almost 18 years ago, life changed in an instant when Steven Sauder sustained a head injury after a car collision. Although there have been many difficulties, God's grace has been clearly evident. The past few years, Steven continued to decline, yet God gave him the strength to "never give up". On May 9, 2011, he reached the end of his journey.

Our love and prayers are with each one of you. For you, Vicki and your children we pray that God will give you courage and strength as you "watch and pray with Steven in his last hours and say your goodbyes. For Steven we rejoice with him as we think of the reunion that is ahead of him. " What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see, what a day glorious day that will be!!"

We have been praying "The Open Door" for Steven, that he may walk upright into Jesus presence. We are also lifting you and your family up for courage and strength in this time of life. Truman and Bev.
ReplyDeleteToday we sang, "Face To Face".
ReplyDeleteFace to face with
Christ my Savior,
Face to face--what will it be.
When with rapture I behold Him
Jesus Christ who died for me ?
Only faintly now I see Him,
With the darkling veil between:
but a blessed day is coming
when His glory whall be seen
What rejoicing in His presence
When are banished grief and pain
When the crooked ways are straightened
And the dark things shall be plain.
Face to face! O blissful moment !
face to face--to see and know
Face to face with my Redeemer.
Jesus Christ who loves me so.
Face to face I shall behold Him, Far beyond the starry sky.
Face to face in all His glory, I shall see Him by and by.
Of course, I was crying and thinking of how wonderful for Steve ! And then someday, for the rest of us, his brothers and sisters.
We prayed for you today at Eureka.
